Sometimes, it’s like chewing glass.
This flood in my mouth is strange,
Because I can’t tell what I am chewing on.
Slipping into this lethargic trance,
To mute my thought stem
Of anything from conjuring
Your whispering life lenses.
So fixed on finding my sleep again,
I forget how you lurk.
Standing in a thick of fog,
Your cryptic fingers trip me into this river
Of illusions and bone-eaters.
My life strings barely flutter on anything,
Let alone this now bitter wind.
You spoke of the end and
Said nothing at all.
Give up.

I suffer you, by a gaze.
Something so animal leaps at me.
With every step it makes my head spill all of this disdain,
For all this hair and lard.
I wonder then, what your face would appear as
If I were to cover it in blood.
A dead-level peak of realism,
For your husk-like complexion,
Because I see how you drag.
Leaving your lifeless body-wake on the earth,
Like a poisonous fume that eyes can smell.
This opiate light is strong,
To expose your life force at it’s worst,
Not that you could do better if you wished it.
Shuffle your hooves, to bury my voice in an early grave.
For I’m claw tight in my concrete crawl.
Scouring,
With wraith-like wings,
Ever looming.
I suffer you, by a gaze.

With blood soaked eyes,
You sleep your way
Down this river of black rocks
Covered thick in memory-moss.
Collecting your eye drips
And finger husks in the death-vase you carry,
Clasped by ghost like appendages.
Drifting aimlessly,
In wind that never blows.
Leaving rot-marks,
That stain the surface,
Of this eternal lightless landscape.
Tirelessly searching,
For the body that left you,
In my mind film.
You are the relic that you carry.

I feel something withering…
And I know,
It’s not the moon filtering the heavy lung sap.
In this pond painted night,
I wade.
“You look so insensitive.”
Stir this miasmic cauldron with my waking eye.
Flood.
Chest digger, settle down.
Sinking in this black marsh
With mist pale eyes,
Dissolving through my mind.
Of the grey eating weeds,
That need to feed,
On the sap they bleed.
Shoreline eyes,
Gaze at me.
In this swamp of lost thoughts,
The cryptic beast told me…
“You are a servant to me, I hold your eyes.”
In this marshland thick of lies,
I hear your tongue slither cries,
Of false reality.
You harvest souls
With the left hand of god,
And move on,
Careless.

Bone White.
This liquid is bone white and void heavy
I let these jackal eyes pour their potion,
As the shadow filled, marrow-river flows into my lungs.
They speak to me,
Breathe this fume of flood elixir deep
And slip into psychotropic sleep.
Claws crafted with intent
To strip my life-hide of
The ash-bones you made
The moon cycles and sun melts
But your jackal eyes still cast their spells
Of false whispers from bleeding trees
Reminding me, I cannot see
Point-black reality
Failure.
To exhume
Spine-biting life
Failure.
